New temporary timetable from Monday 18 January
Working with the Government, train companies are reducing services during the current national lockdown. This will ensure our service is sustainable, so fellow key workers and other people travelling for a legally-permitted reason can continue to do so.
This means at c2c we are now running a temporary timetable. A full copy of the new weekday timetable is available here.
These changes protect our ability to deliver a reliable service for key workers as frontline rail staff, like everyone else, continue to be affected by the pandemic. We have worked with the Government to plan our reduced timetable, with a focus on the most popular morning and evening peak travel times. This will enable key workers to get to where they’re needed and have the space to maintain social distancing.
If you use West Ham station as part of your journey, Transport for London have advised that this station is particularly busy between 06:00-08:00. If it is possible for you to make a small change to the time you travel, you could have a more comfortable journey. You can check quiet times to travel on TfL’s website here.
Due to the worsening spread of coronavirus, the Government is currently urging everyone to stay home as much as possible. If you are travelling with c2c, please continue to do your bit by:
- Wearing a face covering onboard and at stations (unless exempt)
- Checking before you travel for the latest journey information
- Planning ahead where you can, to avoid busy times
- Follow our advice to travel safe, travel smart, and keep apart
We’re still doing everything we can to make your journey clean and comfortable. This includes extra cleaning and providing hand sanitiser at our stations. We will also publish a guide to how busy individual trains are, once this information is available, to help you to plan your journey in advance.
