03 February 2022 •
This weekend there is major engineering work on the c2c line. This will allow us to make important progress with improvement projects at both Upminster and West Horndon stations. Please plan ahead and allow sufficient time for your journey.
Saturday 5 February
Train services are running as follows:
- Liverpool Street – Shoeburyness via Dagenham Dock, Rainham, Purfleet, Grays, and all stations from Pitsea
- Liverpool Street – Shoeburyness via Grays, Tilbury Town, East Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope, and all stations from Pitsea
- Laindon – Basildon – Pitsea shuttle train service
Rail replacement buses are running as follows:
- Upminster – Grays calling at Ockendon and Chafford Hundred
- Upminster – West Horndon – Laindon
For travel between Upminster and Barking stations, please use District Line services.
If you are travelling to central London but do not have a direct train service on the day, you may find your journey is quicker to head east and connect with train services at Pitsea rather than using bus or tube services.
