Award-winning c2c takes two more prizes for punctuality

c2c has won another top industry award and been named by commuters as London’s most punctual train service.
More of our customers are satisfied with train punctuality than any other commuters to the capital, according to the latest National Rail Passenger Survey published yesterday. The research by independent passenger watchdog Transport Focus today concludes 87% of c2c passengers are satisfied with the punctuality of c2c’s service. This compares with a London-wide average of 74% satisfaction with punctuality.
We have also won the rail industry’s coveted “Golden Whistle” award for Best Operational Performance in London. The prize was awarded this week at the annual ceremony organised by Modern Railways magazine. Over the past year 83.5% c2c trains arrived within one minute at each station, which is the best performance in the UK.
c2c Delivery Director Laura McEwen said: “Everyone working at c2c takes great pride in our ability to provide customers with a dependable and reliable train service. To be recognised by our customers for these efforts in the same week that we win an award from our peers is a huge boost for the team.
“We know we’re not perfect, and we will carry on working hard to make more improvements, like investing in our stations and upgrading our new ticketing systems. But these results show we are delivering on our number one objective for our customers.”
