FAQ connected to this ticket type
-
1. Does an adult have to buy a ticket too?
While this ticket is geared towards children, an adult can – and must – buy a ticket first, in order for the child(ren) to travel with them. With our Kids for £2 ticket deal, you can take a trip with your child, grandchild, niece or nephew for the price of a takeaway coffee – as long as you have a valid Adult ticket. To take advantage of this offer, the child you’re travelling with must be between the ages of five and 16. Both of you are then free to travel on weekends or off-peak weekdays during the school holidays. You can add a London Zones travelcard, too.
