Local rail company c2c and Southend United have today proudly announced the continuation of their Platinum Partnership which will see c2c as the club’s front of shirt partner again for the 2025/26 season.

c2c and Southend United have today announced that the rail operator’s distinctive logo will again adorn the club’s home, away and third shirts during the 2025/26 National League season.

Following a successful first season together which saw the Shrimpers make it to the Promotion Final at Wembley Stadium in June, c2c remains committed to supporting the club in its efforts to go one better this time and gain promotion back into the Football League.

Commenting, c2c’s Managing Director, Rob Mullen, said: “c2c is delighted to be continuing its Platinum Partnership with Southend United this forthcoming season, and we can’t wait to see our logo again at the front and centre of the new home, away and third shirts.

“Although last season didn’t quite have the fairytale ending we were all hoping for, we are immensely proud to have partnered with the club during a year in which so much was achieved on and off the pitch, and in the communities we both serve.”

c2c’s Commercial and Interim Customer Director, Eleni Jordan, said: “Through our partnership we have worked closely with the club and local groups to bring football and Southend United to the next generation of fans – c2c hosted over 350 supporters from local schools, charities and community groups last season – as well as those who aren’t always able to attend matches.

“The partnership is also aligned with many social value goals that we are committed to through the Purpose Coalition, including creating opportunities for all, enhancing good health & wellbeing and building sustainable communities.

“We very much look forward to continuing our journey with Southend United and can’t wait for the new season to kick-off.”

c2c and Southend United achievements and records during the 2024/25 season:

  • Record number of replica shirt sales
  • Shortlisted for prestigious Football Content Award (2024/25 ‘Every Journey Needs Its Threads’ kit reveal film) which was streamed over 500k times on day of launch
  • c2c brand seen over 33 million times (in relation to Southend United) on social media, and by 317k supporters in stadiums
  • More than £17k raised for local mental health charities
  • Match tickets shared with over 350 members of local charities, schools and community groups

Southend United’s Chief Executive Officer, Tom Lawrence, said: “We are thrilled to continue our relationship with c2c for the 2025/26 season. Their ongoing support is a vital part of what we’re building, both on and off the pitch, and this renewed commitment reflects the strength of partnership that we look forward to building on in the year ahead.

“Last season, both organisations worked together on a number of initiatives that had a positive impact in the local communities that we both serve, just as we set out to do from the start. I’ve no doubt that, by working closely with Rob and his team, we’ll make even greater strides this year – and we can’t wait to achieve that together.”

Southend United’s Commercial Manager, Rylee Doe, added “It’s been a real pleasure working with c2c throughout the 2024/25 season. Their support has gone far beyond a logo on our shirts; they’ve been side by side with us in championing local causes and connecting with our fans. As a community club, we’re incredibly proud of this partnership and excited for what’s ahead.

“With c2c’s continued backing, we look forward to pushing forward even further towards achieving our goals both on the pitch and in the wider community.”
