Senior Rover

If you’re over 65 years of age and you love travelling by train (or if you’re over 60 with a Senior Railcard), you’ll want to make the most of our Senior Rover tickets, which allow you to hop on and off trains all day during the Off-Peak (Monday-Friday) for just £10.

    Senior Rover tickets are available as paper tickets. Either order online and pick up at the station or buy at the ticket office or at a ticket machine.

    Make sure you bring your passport or driver’s licence when you travel - you will need to provide proof of age.

      • Valid for customers aged 65 and over or Senior Railcard holders over 60
      • Customer required to produce proof of age on request
      • The £10 ticket is valid for travel between all c2c stations, but does not include travel on TfL services (such as the District line, London Overground or Elizabeth Line).
      • Valid Mondays to Fridays only, excluding Bank Holidays. Travel time restrictions apply.
        • The ticket is not valid at any station before 0930 on weekdays
        • The ticket is only valid for use after 0930 and is not valid on any trains travelling from within the London Travelcard area (Zones 1-6) between 1600-1859.
        • Travel outside the London Travelcard area, or into the London Travelcard area, is permitted between 1600-1859
        • Tickets are valid until to 02:30am on Saturdays to allow for travel home on Friday evening
      • Not valid on the services of other train operators or London Underground
      • No further Railcard discounts (eg. Network Railcard, Disabled Persons Railcard) are allowed
      • Refunds are provided in line with National Rail Conditions of Travel. You will need to follow our refund procedure as normal.
    • Can I take my pet with me on your services?
      Good news for pet owners. You can take up to two dogs or other small domestic animals – free of charge – onto our trains, provided that they can be accommodated on the train service on which you are travelling. If you’re unsure, please check before you travel.
    • When are Off-Peak parking tickets valid?
      Off-Peak car park tickets are generally available from 10am and all weekend. Please check the station information section of this website for more information about off peak car park prices.
