Rail user groups

Working with local passenger groups across the c2c route

c2c works with local passenger groups from along our route through a combine Rail User Group that we set up to discuss and inform on future timetable changes, and ensure passenger’s views are considered when we plan and implement new timetables. The local passenger groups we work with are the Southend Rail Travellers Association (SRTA), Thurrock Rail User Groups (TRUG) and Laindon Passenger Group (LPG).

Joining or communicating with your local passenger group

The Southend Rail Travellers Association (SRTA) is an independent passenger group set up to represent the views of rail passengers travelling from stations east of and including Benfleet. The chair is Peter Slattery. If you travel in this area and you have any comments concerning your station, train times or end-to-end journey experiences, please contact srta.usergroup@gmail.com and they will be presented to the senior management team at c2c.

The Laindon Passenger Group (LPG) is an independent body set up to represent the views of rail passengers travelling from Laindon and West Horndon stations. The chair is Lesley Reynolds. If you travel in this area and you have any comments concerning your station, train times or end-to-end journey experiences, please contact Laindonpassengergroup@gmail.com and they will be presented to the senior management team at c2c.

The Thurrock Rail User Group or Loopline is an independent group set up to represent the views of rail passengers who travel on the lines via Ockendon and via Rainham. The chair is James Savill. If you travel in this area and you have any comments concerning your station, train times or end-to-end journey experiences, please contact loopline.usergroup@gmail.com and they will be presented to the senior management team at c2c.

Creating a rail user group

c2c is always keen to work with passenger representative groups. If your area is not currently represented by an existing group and you are able to set up a formal rail user group to represent the views of local passengers then please email contact@c2crail.co.uk.
