Rail fares changing 1 March

23 February 2021

Rail fares in the UK will be changing from 1 March 2021.

Ticket prices on c2c will increase by 2.6%, to the nearest 10p. This follows the Government’s national policy for ticket price changes, with these changes delayed from the usual annual implementation date in January.

You can check c2c ticket prices on our journey planner.

Tickets for journeys made on or shortly after 1 March can be bought at the lower price if you purchase them by 28 February. If you intend to buy a monthly season ticket or a Flexi-Season ticket, or are planning a long journey, you may save money by buying your ticket this month.

Government guidelines remain that you should only travel if essential for work or other legally-permitted reasons.
