Free travel for marathon runners on c2c this Sunday

c2c is again offering free travel for all runners taking part in this Sunday’s London Marathon.
If you are taking part in the event, simply show your runner’s number or your finisher’s medal at our station. Our staff will then let you travel for free on the day.
Please note we have planned engineering work this Sunday on the Rainham line. Replacement buses are running instead between Upminster and Grays via Rainham. Also all services on the day are to/from Fenchurch Street station, with no trains running into Liverpool Street station. Details of tube line closures and special services are on the TfL website.
Virgin Money London Marathon have produced an event guide for this weekend’s race. To reduce the number of people attending the event, the organisers are also asking runners to invite only one supporter to watch in person.
