Smartcard Loyalty Rewards

One of the perks of using a Smartcard is you can collect 1 point for every £1 you spend on c2c train tickets when you opt in to the loyalty scheme in your online account.

How do I sign up?

All you have to do is make sure your Smartcard is registered to your c2c online account. Then in the ‘manage my Smartcards’ drop down in your account simply opt in to the Loyalty scheme. Your points will be added each time you buy tickets online onto a c2c Smartcard.

What are Loyalty Points?

Loyalty Points reward you for travelling with a c2c Smartcard, giving you money off future journeys. For every £1 that you spend on c2c train tickets bought online you’ll be awarded 1 point. With 1 point equal to 1 penny you’ll soon have plenty of points to use as money off future c2c train tickets. To collect Loyalty points you need a c2c Smartcard, registered to your online account and opted in to the scheme.

    1. Log in to your c2c account (where you buy your tickets online)
    2. Make sure your Smartcard is registered to your c2c online account. You can see this in the ‘manage my Smartcards’ drop down in your account.
    3.  Once logged in, you can access the the Loyalty Scheme section under your account.
    4.  Select the option ‘Yes, I would like to join the Loyalty Scheme’
    5.  Click ‘Update’ button to save changes. You can choose to opt-out of the Loyalty Scheme at any time.

    Now when you buy tickets onto your Smartcard you’ll start collecting Loyalty Points!

    Loyalty Points take 28 days to clear from the date when your last ticket was valid for travel. You’ll see them as ‘pending’ in your account. Once your points have cleared they’ll show as ‘available’. Once they’ve cleared it’s easy to redeem them. When you search for your next journey on c2c you’ll be given a choice of how many points you’d like to use against the ticket. Please note Loyalty Points can only be redeemed on tickets for travel on c2c and exclude any Travelcard add-on.

    If you’re a Flexi-Season ticket holder, your Loyalty Points will enter your online account pending 26 weeks after the date of purchase (this is the last date your Flexi-Season is valid for travel) to clear 28 days later.
