Get ready for National Smart week 14 – 20 October

Stations across the country, including ours, are getting ready to switch to smart tickets as part of a nation-wide campaign, led by National Rail, to get rail customers ready to make the switch to smart ticketing.

We know many of you might be used to using paper tickets, but half of all rail passengers across the country now choose smart tickets because they’re more convenient, more secure and come with more travel perks. Plus, they are reusable so you can save the trees by going paper free.

How is c2c celebrating Smart week?

We’ll be at a selection of stations across the route during Smart week with handy information about how to switch to a c2c Smartcard, plus some giveaways and fun activities too. Follow us on Twitter or Facebook for announcements about where we’ll be and when. We hope to see you there.

Benefits of a c2c Smartcard

Automatic Delay Repay

If your train is delayed by more than two minutes, we’ll keep track and then credit your c2c account each month.

Earn loyalty points

Collect points for your journeys that add up to money off future c2c tickets.
