Winter Wonderland Angel’s Market, Hyde Park
When? 21 November 2019 – 5 January 2020
The biggest and brightest of London’s Christmas markets is back again for this magical time of year. There’s something for everyone here at the free to enter Winter Wonderland site where you can also browse the 200 fairy-lit Bavarian style wooden chalets; including jewellery, clothes, decorations and hand-crafted treasures a plenty to gift to friends and family. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave!

Christmas by the River, London Bridge
When? 26 November 2019 – 5 January 2020
Here is arguably one of the most picture perfect spots for an iconic Christmas market experience. There are 70 chalet styled stalls sprinkled along the backdrop of a wintered London Bridge and River Thames, where you can indulge in the wholesome food and warm spiced drinks, as you wander through the boutique marketplace glittered with an array of perfect presents for your loved ones. Also check for events and workshops open throughout the season.

Southbank Centre Winter Festival & Christmas Market
When? 8 November 2019 – 5 January 2020
Southbank Centre sees its international status as one of the top hotspots in the Christmas cold continue for another year running. With dozens of traders from around the world serving up a festive feast of street food and pop-up bar cocktails, experience the buzz by the bank in all its glory as it lights up at night. You can also wine and dine in the extremely popular private Alpine igloos for an even more fantastical experience (book early to avoid disappointment).

Christmas in Leicester Square
When? 8 November 2019 – 5 January 2020
Historically renowned for its electrifying atmosphere and entertainment, Leicester Square makes no exceptions for Christmas time. There will be a European inspired theme to the market as the central gardens are transformed into a magical non-stop parade of shows, carols and comedy. Not too forgetting the various artisan stalls to find some unique gifts, as well as being able to meet the man in red himself at Santa’s Grotto.

Christmas Late Market, Greenwich
When? Wednesday 4, 11 and 18 December 2019
This yuletide market may not be open all day every day, it closes around 8pm, however it’s definitely quality over quantity for Greenwich at Christmas. Discover hundreds of unique arts and crafts gifts perfect for those ‘a little different’ presents. Enjoy seasonal songs played out as market goers breathe in the winter smells of mulled wine and roasted street food, all underneath the hundreds of twinkling lights and decorations.

Borough Christmas Market
When? Open every day from 4 December (including Sundays)
Seeing the historic arches of Borough brushed in a beautiful array of decorations and lights is a sure enough way to get into the season’s spirit. But there’s plenty more for the senses here; as the sounds, smells and tastes of the famous market’s delicious food, mulled wines and carol singers make a terrific all round experience. So don’t miss out!

Covent Garden at Christmas
When? 12 November 2019 – 6 December 2020
Experience a Christmas shopping experience with a mix of big-name global brands alongside independent boutique market stalls, all in the centre of one of London’s most famous streets. Plus there will be late night openings on 6, 13 and 20 December so you can enjoy the glistening lights in the darker winter nights surrounded by the sounds of carol singers.
