Can I buy a train ticket for someone else?

Train tickets can be used by anyone, even if your ticket features the name of the traveller or the person responsible for booking the tickets.

When making a booking, you can request that the tickets are sent to a different UK address.
In the instance that you’re purchasing tickets for someone else, please note that you’ll find the sales receipt with the tickets. This shows the last four digits of the credit card, as well as the purchase price.

For smooth and fuss-free self-service collection, please remember that the credit/debit card used to make the booking will be required, alongside your ticket collection reference, which was provided when you placed your order.
