When? Winter Wonderland Hyde Park runs from 21st November 2024 – 5th January 2025. London’s Winter Wonderland is open daily from 10am to 10pm, except Christmas Day. This year, you must book your tickets in advance.

How do I get there with c2c? Take the train to London Fenchurch Street then change onto the Central Line from Bank before getting off at Marble Arch.

How much are tickets? Tickets are free during off-peak periods and will only cost between £5 or £7.50 during peak hours. You can find out more about tickets here

Winter Wonderland activities

Skate on the UK’s largest outdoor rink set under a picturesque canopy of twinkly lights and built around the iconic Victorian bandstand in Hyde Park. Marvel at the Magical Ice Kingdom, a frost-covered land of magic and wonder, created from over 500 tonnes of beautifully sculptured ice and snow. Create your very own ice sculpture at the Ice Sculpting workshops. See London’s breath-taking skyline from the 70 metre Giant Wheel or brave the giant loops of several rollercoasters at the fairground. Stroll through the traditional Christmas market with over 100 charming chalets or the Bavarian village with its cosy bars, cafes and restaurants.

Whether it is the traditional fairground for younger children or the hair-raising Winter Wonderland roller coasters, there are plenty of rides to choose from, including a real ice slide!

There is more family-friendly fun at Zippos Christmas Circus. Expect jaw-dropping aerial and acrobatic, plus their now famous and adorable giant Christmas inflatable fur Bears! Of course, no visit would be complete without a visit to Santa’s Grotto in Santaland. With plenty of places to eat and drink and even a family-friendly Chill Space to warm up and relax, Winter Wonderland will definitely get you into the festive spirit.
