Southend is hosting a FREE seafront display every Saturday from 26 October to 16 November. Free Seafront Fireworks, Southend
When: Every Saturday at 19:30 from 26 October – 16 November

Special Features: With the biggest displays yet, sea front views and accompanying music, Southend’s month long displays promise to brighten up your autumn. Make more of your trip with a spin round the rides of Adventure Island, a brew in a cosy pub, or some tasty fish and chips.

Fireworks Night, Victoria Park
When: 7pm Sunday 3 November
Ticket info: Free
Organised by the council’s Arts, Parks and Events Team, this year’s event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. So in between the glistening sky lights be sure to look up and get excited for the space-inspired fun. Taking the kids? They travel for only £2 at weekends!
Nearest station: Hackney Wick (take the c2c line to Stratford, then change to the overground for one stop).
The Big Beach Bang, Shoebury East Beach
When: Saturday 2 Nov from 17:45, Shoebury East Beach
Ticket info: £5 in advance or £6 on the night (per person). Children 5 and under are free.
Special Features: A DJ and Fun Fair makes this event an entertaining evening with lots to see besides the spectacular fireworks display. All ticket proceeds go to local charities and back into the local community. Whilst parking is free, it is limited, so make sure to arrive early. Buy your train tickets 3 or more days ahead for our very best off-peak adult fares!

Firework Spectacular, Basildon
When: Sunday 3 November, gates open at 16:00, Basildon Sports and Leisure Club.
Ticket info: £5 in advance or £8 on the night (per person). Children under 5 are free.
Special Features: This annual event returns once again with a sparkling display to light up Basildon. With all proceeds going to charity, a licensed bar and plenty of food outlets makes this an outing for all the family. Designated event parking is free, but limited.

Family Fireworks Display, Upminster Infant School
When: Saturday 2 November from 17:00, Upminster Infant School, Upminster.
Ticket info: Advance tickets can be purchased by the school on October 29, 30, 31 & November 1. Adults £6, Child 4+ £4 and Child under 4 £1. Tickets can also be purchased on the door subject to availability and increased entry fee.
Special Features: This family-focused fireworks display is a wholesome autumn evening for all, and with guests encouraged to bring glowing items with it’ll certainly be a dazzlingly bright night. Be sure to check travel options as there will be no parking in the area.

Southwark Fireworks Night, Southwark Park
When: November 5 from 17:00
Ticket Info: Non-local residents should buy their tickets in advance here, as the event’s popularity mean they typically sell out.
Special Features: One of the best places to see London’s night sky light up, and with food, drink, children’s funfair and entertainment available until 8pm, it’s a perfect midweek outing.
