Can I use my discount during peak times?
A minimum fare of £12 applies to all journeys made before 9:30 AM, Monday to Friday. Please note that while this morning minimum fare restriction is waived for 16-25 Railcard holders during July and August, this summer waiver does not apply to the 26-30 Railcard. The £12 minimum spend remains in place for 26-30 cardholders throughout the summer months.
Outside of these morning peak restrictions, including all day on weekends and public holidays, you can enjoy your full 1/3 discount without any minimum fare requirements.
