Induction loops and accessible ticket machines are available. There are no lifts at the station, but step free access is available to both platforms from street level. Impaired mobility set down is available. National key toilets are not available. Staff assistance at the station is available on request - please call 03457 444 422. Assistance is available 24 hours a day.

Apart from the Beach Huts, one of Thorpe Bay’s main attractions is the Thorpe Bay Golf Club. This 18-hole golf course is the premier golf course in the area. For a romantic night out, treat your loved one for a dinner at the restaurant at the Roslin Beach Hotel. It specialises in local seafood and has a stunning view of the beach. They are also famous for their afternoon tea. Thorpe Bay Broadway which stretches from the railway station to the sea front is full of thriving independent shops.
