Oktoberfest is the largest beer festival in the world, and if you like drinking from huge steins, singing along with German oompah bands, eating bratwurst and wearing lederhosen, then you probably want to get involved.

    Situated next to the O2 Arena, this 3000 capacity pop-up beer hall brings a slice of authentic Bavaria to London between 27 September – 28 October. Once you’ve filled up on traditional sausage and weissbier, you can dance along to the live entertainment or take a ride in the Fun Fair. Purchase tickets ahead of time to make sure you don’t miss out one of the largest Oktoberfest events in London.

    Bavarian Beer House, Tower Hill

    From 26 September to 20 October,  the Bavarian Beerhouse will be running their Oktoberfest. It prides itself on its German roots and all of the food and drink is sourced direct from Germany. Moments from our Fenchurch Street Station, the Bavarian Beerhouse offers a ‘modern Bavaria’ with quirky, sparkling deer heads and striking images of Neuschwanstein Castle.

    If you’re after a truly authentic Oktoberfest experience then you can’t go wrong with Bierschenke. The fixtures and fittings are imported from Munich, and German staff dressed in lederhosen and dirndls serve you Bavarian Beer, meat and pretzels, while the Bavarian Strollers blast out live ‘oompah-pop,’ bringing joy to your ears.     A fine Bavarian drinking and dining venue that dedicates five weeks to Oktoberfest, kicking off with a traditional keg-tapping ceremony. If you like an event, get involved in lederhosen wearing competitions, or watch while enjoying wurst, goulash and steins of wiessbiers and pilsners. The party until 27 October.

    If you love ice-cold German beer then you’ll be spoilt for choice, as there are over 60 in Octoberfest. The owners boast that their Oompah band will have you singing along and dancing on your seats, and if you want to wash the beer down with some German meat, head there on Thursdays for their all you can eat sausage night. This one runs year round.
