Join us in celebrating the colourful Hares About Town public art event taking place in Southend from 1 July – 12 September. All money raised will be in support of local charity, Havens Hospices.
We’re delighted to be the presenting partner for this charity-led event which will see 30 hare sculptures placed around Southend creating a free, fun, family-friendly trail for local people and visitors to explore and enjoy!

Our special c2c Hares
We will have two uniquely painted hares located on the trail, Leporum Fisher and Rocky.
Leporum Fisher was designed and painted by celebrated artist, the late Paul Karslake. With numerous solo exhibitions, Paul became famous for his depictions of celebrities such as the Rolling Stones, Johnny Depp, Michael Caine and Grace Kelly.
Leporum Fisher can be found near Chalkwell station and Rocky will be near Southend station from 1 July. Make sure you use the Hares about Town app when you visit them to unlock the chance to win some special prizes.
