c2c Tops the Punctuality Table For 2014/15

National Express train operator c2c has retained its crown as the UK’s most punctual train operator in 2014/15.

 

The latest punctuality results from Network Rail show that 96.9% of c2c trains arrived on time for the year to 31 March 2015. This is an increase on 2013/14, when 96.7% of c2c services arrived on time, and is the third successive year that c2c has finished at the top of the national PPM table.

 

In Period 13 alone, 98.0% of c2c trains arrived on time - also the best performance in the country.

 

c2c Managing Director Julian Drury said: “Our sustained success in running a punctual train service is a credit to the determination and hard work of the entire c2c team. It’s because of these results that we are able to take customer service to the next level, with our industry-leading promise to passengers of automatic refunds when they are delayed for as little as two minutes, from the end of this year.

 

“This means that c2c passengers will benefit from both the UK’s best train service, and the UK’s best refund policy.”
