50% Discount Rail Ticket Offer Extended for Extra Month

National Express train operator c2c has extended its 50% advance discount offer on off-peak tickets for the whole of February.

 Since Christmas, more than one thousand local rail passengers have benefited from discounted c2c train tickets by purchasing them online. Those who buy their tickets seven or more days before they travel benefit from the half-price offer, while a 25% discount is also available for passengers when buying their tickets as little as three days before they travel.

The discounts mean those passengers who are travelling the longest distances can save over £8.50 each on a day’s return travel.

c2c Commercial Director Ruth Harrison-Wood said: “Originally our discounts were only available during January, but there’s been a really popular response to the offer from our passengers. That’s why decided to extend our 50% discount offer for journeys in February too.”
