Advice and information for social distancing on buses
  • Queuing – people will be asked to remain 2m apart, unless they are from the same household.
  • On the bus – the row behind the driver will not be available for use. Passengers will be seated in rows 2, 4, 6 and so on. Only the window seats will be used.
  • Passengers will be asked to leave the bus first before new passengers are permitted to board.
  • All tickets should be bought at the ticket machine or ticket office before going to the bus pick up point.
We advise that where possible, customers can drive to Upminster and use the District Line as this is now planned to be open.
