Getting to and from Southend Airport with c2c

Southend Central station on the c2c route is less than three miles away from Southend Airport. From the train station you can take the X30 bus which runs hourly, or the number 9 bus which runs roughly every 12 minutes to the airport. The bus stop is outside the Southend Travel Centre on Chichester Road and takes around 15-20 minutes. You can also jump in a taxi which takes between 6 – 12 minutes, there are ranks right outside the station.

An hour or less from London

Trains from Southend Central run to/from London every 10-15 mins, with a typical journey time of just under an hour to London Fenchurch Street (Liverpool Street at weekends) and 45-50 mins to West Ham (Stratford) for the Underground. You can see our route map to find out where we run.

The first train departs from Southend Central towards Fenchurch Street shortly after 4am, and the last train just after 11:30pm. From London, the first train is around 5am and the last train around 12:30pm. You can see our timetable here:
