Timetable change from Monday 18 May
From Monday 18 May c2c will resume operating its standard weekday timetable. This date has been agreed with the Government, in line with the rest of the rail industry.
While we are increasing services to the maximum level possible, the capacity available remains extremely limited due to the impact of social distancing. The Prime Minister’s instruction on Sunday evening was to avoid using public transport if at all possible, and we thank you for continuing to observe this.
This timetable will still be subject to regular alterations for engineering work, including next week. Detailed information for changes to each day can be found here.
For customers who must travel with c2c, please always follow this advice:
- TRAVEL SAFE: Wear a face covering, in line with the Government’s instructions, and wash your hands or use hand sanitiser. Also stagger your start to avoid peak times. Currently the earliest services are the busiest, so it is better to delay your journey if you must travel. In particular West Ham station is very busy between 06.30 and 07.30 so please avoid it at those times if at all possible
- TRAVEL SMART: Ticket Office opening times will be limited, so use Contactless payment or get yourself a Smartcard. By using a Smartcard you can buy your ticket online and collect it direct from the gates, which is the simplest way to maintain a safe distance at the station
- KEEP APART: Maintain 2 metres social distance from others as much as possible at stations and onboard trains. This will not always be possible on busy trains or when disembarking, but please show maximum consideration to others. This is why it is also important to follow Government advice to wear a face covering.
It is the responsibility of all our customers to follow the Government’s instructions. If you do not feel you can travel safely, you should not continue with your journey.
You can apply for a refund on unused tickets. This can be backdated to when you last used it, up to a maximum of 56 days. We are continuing to process existing refund applications; this is currently taking around six weeks on average, and can take up to eight weeks. Further information on refunds is available here.
