Local rail operator c2c Railway Limited is proud to once again be joining the Rail Delivery Group’s (RDG) Great British Rail Sale (GBRS) and offering customers up to 50% off Off-Peak railway tickets.
Between Tuesday 6 January – Monday 12 January, three million tickets nationwide are being discounted. The sale will begin at 00:01 on Tuesday 6 January and end on 23:59 Monday 12 January 2026, or until all the sale tickets have been sold.
The travel period for these tickets will be between 13 January – 25 March 2026 and tickets must be bought at least 3-7 days in advance of the date of travel, to help manage demand.
c2c Managing Director, Rob Mullen, said:
“We’re delighted to be offering customers such great discounts on tickets for the fourth year running as part of the Great British Rail Sale.
“There are so many great things to see and do along the Essex Riviera and our route, from attending a Southend United fixture at Roots Hall to visiting Lakeside shopping centre at Chafford Hundred. We’re very proud of the great heritage and culture that can be experienced along the c2c line.”
Some of c2c’s great deals in this year’s sale include:
- Shoeburyness to London Fenchurch Street (or Liverpool Street) – Was £22.60, now £11.30
- Benfleet to West Ham – Was £17.40, now £8.70
- Barking to Southend Central – Was £18.20, now £9.10
- London Fenchurch Street to Chafford Hundred – Was £13.20, now £6.60
- Southend Central/East to London – Was £21.60, now £10.80
