Chance for Passengers to Buy Half-Price Tickets on c2c
National Express train operator c2c is giving passengers the chance to travel for half price on weekdays in May if they buy their tickets in advance next week.
c2c’s online advance tickets will cost 50% less than the walk-up fare from Monday 4 May to Friday 8 May.
The discount is available on any weekday off-peak return tickets on c2c for the rest of May, as long as passengers buy at least three days before they travel. This includes the Spring Bank Holiday plus the rest of the half term week at the end of May.
c2c Commercial Director Ruth Harrison-Wood said: “We were planning to make this a special Bank Holiday offer, but last time we offered a 50% discount it was so popular that we’re going to run our big 50% sale period all week. Parents in particular can save money on their days out at half term if they act quickly and buy their train tickets next week.”
The offer applies to tickets for travel on c2c only. Full details are available at http://www.c2c-online.co.uk/.
