Emergency engineering works: Sunday 24 April from 8pm

Owing to defective points in the East Ham area, Network Rail will need to carry out emergency engineering works from 8pm on Sunday 24th April until 4am on Monday 25th April. Check live travel and affected services here.
After 20:00 services via Rainham will be cancelled and a rail replacement bus will be running from Upminster to Grays via Rainham. Basildon line and Ockendon line services will be running via an alternative route and will not call at West Ham. The last two Basildon and Ockendon line services will run 5 minutes later throughout to connect with tube services at Barking.
Ticket Acceptance: Passengers travelling to/from Dagenham Dock may use TfL bus routes EL2 or 287. Passengers travelling to/from West Ham may use the District line between Tower Hill and Barking.
