About this event

Leigh-on-Sea Town Council are delighted to announce plans for this year’s Light Up Leigh festivities, which will include:

  • Children’s activities in the Community Centre 4-5pm
  • Santa’s Grotto with the Leigh Lions from 4pm
  • Choirs in the Library Gardens 6pm-7pm
  • Festive Christmas Market in the Lower Hall 3-8pm
  • Complimentary mulled wine and mince pies in the Community Centre from 4pm
  • Live music in the Ironworks café
  • Late-night shopping and more from local businesses, churches, bars, & restaurants

Getting to Light Up Leigh

As the official travel sponsor of Light Up Leigh, we recommend taking the train to Leigh-on-Sea station, which is just a short walk from Leigh high street where most of the festivities will be taking place.
