Route Improvement Work

Network Rail are undertaking track renewals between Barking and Upminster,

Due to engineering work between Barking and Upminster a revised service will operate on all c2c routes:

On Saturday, 

Two trains per hour between Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness running fast from Barking to Pitsea

Two trains per hour between Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness calling at all stations via Rainham and Tilbury

Two trains per hour between Grays and Pitsea via Upminster (reverse) - passengers for Chafford Hundred, Ockendon, Upminster, West Horndon, Laindon and Basildon should use this shuttle service and change at Grays for services to Barking and Fenchurch Street or Pitsea for services to Southend and Shoeburyness.

The Fenchurch to Grays via Rainham service does not run and is replaced by stops in the Fenchurch Street - Shoeburyness via Grays service.

Additional shuttle services will run between Fenchurch Street and Barking for much of the day.

On Sunday,

Two trains per hour between Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness via Rainham and Tilbury.

Two trains per hour between Grays and Pitsea via Upminster (reverse) - passengers for Chafford Hundred, Ockendon, Upminster, West Horndon, Laindon and Basildon should use this shuttle service and change at Grays for services to Barking and Fenchurch Street or Pitsea for services to Southend and Shoeburyness.

The Barking to Grays via Rainham service does not run and is replaced by stops in the Fenchurch Street - Shoeburyness via Grays service.

Please note the District Line is also closed between Barking and Upminster all weekend.

Some early morning and late evening services may be subject to variation from the general pattern.

Please check your journey on the timetables below or use the journey planner.

Ticket Acceptance: c2c will accept all ticket holders (including LUL District Line tickets) between Barking and Upminster via Grays without additional charge. Oyster users should touch in/out at Upminster as usual if travelling via this route.

Passengers for Basildon may also travel via Pitsea and double back to Basildon if this results in a shorter journey time
