Over the last few years the world has been gripped by the Great Statue Debate. Questions about whether statues should remain standing despite deep resentment; which monuments reflect our history in a significant way, and which ones are completely forgotten, unknown and unloved.
On this tour we will introduce you to some of the more interesting, unusual and often divisive statues and monuments in London, bringing figures back into the light who have been languishing in the murky depths of history.
From dedications of love to demonstrations of power, monuments to absurdity to symbols of vanity we will leave no statue uncovered on this journey back in time.
Tour operates on selected Saturday afternoons at 14.00
