British Museum – Arctic
Exhibition Dates: 28 May – 23 August 2020
Home to a rich culture for nearly 30,000 years, the Arctic is far from the uninhabitable hinterland it is often thought to be. Conceived in partnership with people from Arctic communities, this exhibition celebrates their ingenuity, rich cultural history and creativity. But climate change is testing their ability to adapt – possibly to its limit. What happens in the Arctic will affect us all and this exhibition is a timely reminder of what we can learn from its people.
Supported by Citi. Supported by Julie and Stephen Fitzgerald and AKO Foundation.
28 May – 23 August 2020.
