London Underground

What time does the Underground open and close?

To confirm opening times of underground stations, please visit the Transport for London website at www.tfl.gov.uk/tube

Can I purchase a ticket for the London Underground online?

A London Underground ticket will be included with your booking if part of your journey involves travelling across London and using the Underground, or if you type in ‘London Zone 1’ or ‘London Zone 2’ as an arrival or destination station. No underground symbol will be shown in this instance, but you can check that underground is included via the overlay on the matrix, the ‘more details’ link in the journey summary or the shopping basket. A map showing London Zones can be found on the Transport for London website. You can also purchase unlimited Day Travelcards if you select London (Any) as your outward or return station. Select the 'Travelcard Zone' required in the ‘Travel Options’ box during the booking process which gives options to purchase Zones 1-6.

Do I have to travel on the times stated on my Underground ticket?

No. The times shown on Underground tickets are suggested times only.
