Additional information

2FOR1 Thorpe Park

Interested in 2FOR1 entry to Thorpe Park, one of the UK’s top theme parks? Look no further than our 2FOR1 offer, available when you book your train journey with c2c. We know that theme park entry can get pretty pricey, especially when you’re bringing the whole family, so this is one of the best ways to get your money’s worth. You can also save on your train tickets from Essex to London with our Online Advance, allowing you to take the train from Southend to central London for just £11.55 return if booked 3+ days in advance.

What to expect at 2FOR1 Thorpe Park

Thorpe Park is famously a dream for thrill-seekers, but there are also attractions suitable for younger children. The Amity Beach area hosts a selection of fun water slides during the summer for kids over 1m, or under 1m accompanied by an adult. Make sure you pack your swimming costumes and suncream! There’s also the Angry Birds 4D adventure which is as much a ride as a cinema experience. Classics like Storm in a Teacup and Rumba Rapids are also on offer, with variable height limits depending on whether kids are accompanied or not.

For those after a true screamfest, top rollercoasters include Stealth, Saw, the Swarm and Nemesis Inferno. If you fancy dropping 100ft at 50mph, jump on the Detonator.

It’s always worth planning for a full day at Thorpe Park to maximise the number of rides you can try out. Aim to get there when it opens and leave when it closes if you’re able to! Comfy shoes are a must as it’s a fairly big park and you’ll be spending some time in ride queues. If it’s a rainy day, wrap up warm and bring an umbrella. Likewise if it’s sunny pack your hats and sunglasses.

There’s a large number of food and drink outlets in the park, covering almost every taste. Burgers, pasta, pizza, salads, kebabs, German sausages, jacket potatoes, Mexican food and veggie and vegan options are all available. There’s even a pub, the Huntsmans Arms, where you can get your hands on a refreshing beverage. You can bring your own food and drinks, but make sure it’s all sealed otherwise it could be confiscated on your way in.

How to get to 2FOR1 Thorpe Park

Thorpe Park is a way out of London, so you’ll need to change a few times to get there from Fenchurch Street. First, walk from Fenchurch Street to Tower Hill and take the Circle or District line tube westbound to Embankment. Then change to the Northern line southbound and alight at Waterloo. From there you’ll need to come out of the Underground and take a National Rail train to Staines (about 30 minutes). From Staines station there are regular shuttle buses to Thorpe Park. Look for the number 950 running every 15-20 minutes.

How to get your 2FOR1 Thorpe Park voucher

To get your 2FOR1 Thorpe Park voucher, you’ll just need to click the purple “Claim” button at the top of this page, and follow the instructions on the Days Out Guide website you’ll be taken to.
