See 175 years of railway history when you enjoy a day out at Didcot Railway Centre. The entrance is through Didcot Parkway Station and so is perfectly situated for train travelers.
Our unique collection of Great Western Railway steam engines, carriages, wagons, buildings and smaller artefacts is situated in 20 acres based around the original 1930s Engine Shed and Coal Stage. We have a replica of Brunel's Broad Gauge Railway as well as an original Air Raid Shelter.
Families can enjoy our new Play Park and dressing up area, and get hands on in our Science Learning & Railways Exhibition. Visitors can watch the trains from our Picnic Area or eat in our Refreshment Room which serves hot and cold food and home-made cakes. Check our website for train running days.
