What you’ll do:

We are recruiting for a Diagramming & Planning Manager to work within our Delivery team. The successful candidate will be based within the Planning & Performance department and will ensure that accurate timetables and diagrams are shared with the wider business and external parties.

What it takes:

This role would be primarily responsible for updating Long Term and Short Term diagrams, representing c2c at meetings with Network Rail, liaising with our resourcing department/union representatives on behalf of the Planning & Performance department and assisting with other departmental tasks as required. This role would primarily be focussed on producing traincrew diagrams but an ability to produce timings and fleet diagrams will also be required. The successful candidate would be require to provide traincrew diagrams in a timely, and cost-effective manner, ensuring performance and efficiency targets are met.


A background in train planning is essential. The successful candidate should have experience in using Voyager Plan with an ability to use other software packages such as Excel with confidence. This role will require interaction with unions and external stakeholders; therefore, it will be important for the successful candidate to build relationships with the Driver Management & Resourcing Teams as well as fostering the relationship between the Planning & Performance Team and Driver Team union representatives
