c2c is a London based train operator and one of the most punctual in the country. We are a small but ambitious train company leading the industry with innovations such as Automatic Delay Repay, Flexi-Season smartcard tickets, and the wholesale replacement of our ticket retailing systems.

What you’ll do:

We are recruiting a Customer & Market Insight Analyst to work within our Commercial team. The successful candidate will be the company’s focus for delivering insight from a wide range of customer and market data, and will support the development and assessment of initiatives to improve the customer experience and grow our revenue.

You will become an expert in c2c’s customers and market.  You will manage all customer and market research, reporting findings, and explaining the drivers of customer satisfaction. You will develop your understanding of the drivers of business growth, and support the reporting of sales results and the business casing of revenue and customer improvement initiatives. You will work with the marketing team to develop c2c’s customer segmentation and improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. And you will manage ‘voice of the customer’ feedback, champion the actioning of priorities identified to inform business improvements.

What it takes:

As the successful candidate you will be customer focused and commercially minded, with a drive to understand markets and develop the customer experience. You will have core strengths in analysis, reasoning, and critical thinking and be skilled at drawing insight from data and communicating findings with clarity. You will be a team player, capable of forming strong working relationships across teams and at all levels within the company.

A background in customer and market analysis in a commercial environment is important for this role, as is a degree or professional qualification in a numerate discipline. Experience of statistical analysis and reporting is highly relevant, as too are the skills to communicate with and influence the stakeholders you work with.
