c2c line status: Good service

We are c2c

'We are c2c' aims to tell the stories of the extraordinary people who work with us, especially those who live along our route. We want to show you what goes on behind the scenes at c2c and what we love about our jobs and the places we live in.

We'll tell you about our jobs, our lives and talk about some of our favourite places along the route.

Each month we'll bring you more stories from the people who make up c2c.

Meet Trina and Andrea Barclay

For International Women’s Day, we spoke to two of our most recognised mainline drivers, Trina and Andrea about driving trains and life at c2c. Of our 197 train drivers, only 10 are women. We'd love more - join us.

We are Samaritans

Samaritans are a charity close to the heart of c2c. Their suicide prevention training courses have had a real impact on the lives of people who work and travel on our railway. For Samaritans Awareness Day 24/7 we talk to our Head of Revenue Protection and Security, Iain Palmer, about our work with this amazing organisation.

Meet the environment guru

It’s often quoted that going by train is greener than going by car, but rail companies have green credentials too. To celebrate World Environment Day we meet Mark Manser, Health, Safety and Environment Manager here at c2c to talk all things green.
