| Detail | Route Maintenance WorkNetwork Rail are undertaking track maintenance work between Fenchurch Street and Barking / Upminster
The previously planned engineering work between Fenchurch Street and Barking / Upminster has now be amended so we can run more train services to/from the Olympic Torch Relay as it passes through Barking, Upminster, Rainham.
All c2c services will continue to divert to/from Liverpool Street and no c2c services will serve Fenchurch Street, Limehouse or West Ham.
The line between Barking and Upminster will now be open throughout the day - train services will run between Liverpool Street and Shoeburyness via Laindon and between Liverpool Street and Southend C via Ockendon, with eight car trains on both routes.
Additional trains will operate between Barking and Grays via Rainham to give a 30 minute frequency for much of the day, please note that services are retimed to connect with the amended service to/from Liverpool Street and again all trains on this route will be formed of eight carriages.
The 05.48 from Shoeburyness towards London will terminate at Upminster due to engineering work taking place at Barking until 07.00; as a result an additional train will operate at 06.48 from Upminster to Shoeburyness.
We apologise for the late notice alterations to this engineering work and any inconvenience caused.
Ticket Acceptance: c2c tickets will be accepted on LUL District Line services between Tower Hill and Barking, and Jubilee Line or Docklands Light Railway services between West Ham and Stratford.
Passengers for Limehouse can use Docklands Light Railway services between Tower Gateway and Limehouse and Limehouse to Stratford via Poplar. Please check your journey on the timetables below or use the journey planner
