Your on-board experience
We want you to enjoy every moment that you spend with c2c. So we have ensured that we take care of you and yours in every way possible. Here is everything you need to know about our on-board experience.
Find out which morning peak London bound trains have spare seats from a number of our busiest stations.
These carriages are provided for customers wishing to travel in peace and quiet.
If you feel unwell whilst on a train, getting off at the next station will normally be the quickest way to get help from our station staff or an ambulance crew, if they have been called.
Where appropriate, additional security will be provided, including the installation of CCTV. This ensures that even when travelling by yourself, you can be reassured that you are not alone.
Cycles are carried free of charge on c2c provided they are stored safely and out of the way of other passengers. Click here for more information on cycles with c2c.
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not allowed at any c2c station or on any c2c train, except on station forecourts and in car parks.
Pets on trains
You may take up to two dogs or other small domestic animals free of charge with you into the passenger accommodation of a train provided that they can be accommodated on the train service on which you are travelling.
Heaters on trains
Heating and air conditioning on each of our trains is controlled in each individual carriage by its own on board computer. If you have a problem with the heating or air con please tweet your carriage number to @c2c_rail.
