Railcards
A range of Railcards valid for 12 months offering fantastic discounts on a variety of tickets can be bought at your local ticket office. Once you have your Railcard, discounts are available on most leisure tickets bought online.
Please note that not every ticket type is available for every journey that you may wish to make, and that some time and train restrictions and/or minimum fares may apply. Railcard discounts do not apply to tickets bought on trains. For further information and terms and conditions, pick up the relevant Railcard leaflet at any staffed station.
Senior Railcard
Valid for persons aged 60 and over, this railcard entitles the holder to a third off most Standard and First Class ticket types all over Britain, including the popular Cheap Day Singles, Returns and Saver fares. A Senior Railcard can also be used to buy through tickets on many bus and ship links.

Family Railcard
Four adults and four children can travel on the Family Railcard. At least one named adult on the card (you can have one or two named adults on the card), and at least one child have to travel at all times. You can save a third on most adult rail fares and 60% on the cost of child fares. If there's someone who often takes your children out - granny, a friend or childminder - they can be the second named cardholder.

Young Persons Railcard
You can apply for a Young Persons Railcard if you are aged between 16 and 25, or a mature student (providing you are in full-time education).
A Young Persons Railcard will entitle you to discounts of one third on most ticket types all over Britain, including the popular Cheap Day Singles, Returns and Saver fares. You can also use a Young Persons Railcard to buy through tickets on many bus and ship links.

Network Railcard
The Network Railcard entitles you and up to three other adults to save one third(restrictions apply Monday to Friday) , while up to four children, aged 5 to 15, can save 60% on the child fare (£1 minimum fare applies).
A Network Railcard can be used to purchase Cheap Day Singles and Returns, Standard Day Singles and Returns and Standard Open Singles and Returns, Savers and Network AwayBreaks. Discounts may also be obtained on the Off-Peak Day Travelcards (All Zones only) subject to a minimum fare.

Disabled Persons Railcard
We recommend that you pick up a Disable Persons Railcard application form from any staffed station. Alternatively, email our Customer Relations Department on custrel@c2crail.co.uk, and include your full postal address, and we will be happy to post one to you.

Applying for a Railcard
If you are applying for a Railcard for the first time, you will need to pick up and complete an application form from any staffed station. Complete the form and take it to your nearest staffed station or rail appointed Travel Agent.
If you are renewing a Railcard call in at a staffed station or rail appointed Travel Agent. Please have your existing card with you. Renewals can be made up to one month in advance. Please ensure you allow enough time before your journey for your Railcard to reach you.
What do I do if my Railcard is lost, stolen or damaged?
Provided you keep the stamped receipt attached to your Railcard application, your Railcard can be replaced at any staffed station. There is currently a £5 administration fee to replace a lost Railcard. However, if your Railcard is stolen and you obtain a police crime reference number/documentation, then a free replacement will normally be made.
Please note that you must pay the full fare until you receive your new Railcard.
