Access for all
We want to make travelling as easy as possible for everyone.
Our Access For All policy aims to improve facilities on stations and trains for all users with special access needs, including the disabled, partially sighted, people with mobility or sensory difficulties, the elderly and parents with buggies.
We aim to make our facilities fully compliant with the appropriate legislation, such as the Disability Discrimination Act.
See our Disabled People's Protection Policy section.

The helpline team can tell you the times stations are open, arrange assistance with your luggage and give accessibility details. Where possible please give between 24 - 48 hours notice for any station assistance required.

Improving your safety
To try and ensure everyone is safe to travel on our services, at any time of the day or night, security has been stepped up at stations and on trains with more staff.
We have also introduced CCTV at most stations and on some trains, together with help points, improved fencing on stations and car parks, and improved lighting.
See our Securely Yours page for more information.
Station facilities
Station facilities are being upgraded at all stations on the c2c route to provide a great travelling environment.
In addition to ticket office improvements, we are also upgrading waiting areas, signage, toilet facilities (many featuring baby changing), and shopping facilities wherever possible.
