Leigh-on-Sea station ticket office is open Monday-Friday 05:15-22:00. Ticket machines are available to purchase tickets and collect pre-paid tickets. Oyster cards are not used in this station.

If you are a real ale buff, The Mayflower is the place for you. It has won the CAMRA South East Essex Pub of the Year 2014, and to top it all off it has an in-house fish and chip shop. For a real seaside classic, why not have a pint at The Peterboat, the oldest pub in Leigh and and tuck into some cockles at the same time? For a more contemporary feel, head to Henry’s Burger for some fine American food and cocktails.
Leigh-on-Sea is full of independent stores, as well as the old high street favourites. For quirky fashion boutiques and antiques go to The Broadway, Broadway West and Leigh Road.
