Quiet Zone

If you like a bit of peace and quiet on the train, c2c have introduced Quiet Zones on its services.

It is hoped that Quiet Zones will give customers who wish to travel without excess noise, the opportunity to sit in a quiet carriage away from noise such as mobile phones and audio devices.

One in every four carriages will be a Quiet Zone and this initiative will apply on all our services.

We want to get this right for all our customers - and give everyone a clear choice of where to sit. We would ask all customers travelling in the Quiet Zone to observe the following rules:

• No making or receiving mobile phone calls in this carriage. Please go to the vestibule at the end of the carriage to talk on your phone.

• Use all electrical equipment in silent mode.

• If chatting with fellow passengers, please do so quietly and with consideration for others.
