Train Services on c2c: 8-9 September

03 September 2007

On Sunday 8 September work will take place on the line between Barking and Pitsea via Rainham and Grays.

Normal services will run throughout c2c on Saturday 8 September.

On Sunday 8 September, however, work will take place on the line between Barking and Pitsea via Rainham and Grays. Therefore while services via Laindon will run normally, those via Ockendon will terminate at Grays. Two separate bus services will replace trains between Barking and Grays via Rainham and between Grays and Pitsea.

There will be no changes to midweek services.

Travelling times, where part or all of the journey involves bus transfer, will be extended and passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to carry cycles, prams and bulky luggage on the replacement coach services.

The work being carried out will help to maintain c2c's high levels of punctuality which currently stand at 94.6%.

Details of all c2c services, including the amended services for the above evenings, can be obtained by calling 08457 48 49 50.
