Train Services on c2c: 6-7 October

02 October 2007

From 2010 on Saturday 6 October, however, and all day Sunday 7 October, work will take place on the line between Barking and Grays via Rainham.

Normal services will run on most of c2c throughout the weekend of 6-7 October.

From 2010 on Saturday 6 October, however, and all day Sunday 7 October, work will take place on the line between Barking and Grays via Rainham. Bus services will therefore replace trains between Barking and Grays via Rainham

Train services between Fenchurch Street and Southend/Shoeburyness, via both Laindon and Ockendon, will run as normal.

There will be no changes to the week day evening services.

Travelling times, where part or all of the journey involves bus transfer, will be extended and passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to carry cycles, prams and bulky luggage on the replacement coach services.

The work being carried out will help to maintain c2c's high levels of punctuality which currently stands at 94.35%.

Details of all c2c services, including the amended services for the above evenings, can be obtained by calling 08457 48 49 50.
