Most of the c2c route will enjoy a normal service throughout the weekend of 4 and 5 August, but engineering work is planned to take place between Barking and Grays via Rainham from 1810 on Saturday 4 August until close of service on Sunday 5 August. Replacement buses will run between Barking and Grays via Rainham calling at all stations.

From Monday 6 August until Thursday 9 August engineering work will be carried out from 2200 until end of service between Grays and Pitsea. Trains that would normally travel beyond or start from Pitsea will terminate at and start from Grays. Buses will replace trains between Grays and Pitsea in both directions.

Travelling times, where part or all of the journey involves bus transfer, will be extended and passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to carry cycles, prams and bulky luggage on the replacement coach services.

The work being carried out will help to maintain c2c's high levels of punctuality which currently stand at 94.3%.

Details of all c2c services, including the amended services for the above evenings, can be obtained by calling 08457 48 49 50.
