New toilets at Benfleet
The completely refurbished toilets at Benfleet station opened on 18 October following a £35,000 investment programme. The old toilet block was demolished entirely and completely rebuilt with new flooring and fitments. They are also provided with baby changing facilities in the gents as well as the ladies - a first on c2c. David Taylor, c2c Route Director, said; "The new toilets at Benfleet will be welcomed by our passengers using the station. They are also an indication of c2c's commitment to ongoing improvements of facilities at our stations.
