Top performing train company c2c has a new Route Director. Kevin Frazer, formerly the Operations Manager for c2c, took up his new role at the beginning of the week and is succeeded as Operations Manager by Paul Harding.

Kevin, (37), joined British Rail in 1993 as an operations graduate managerial trainee. After a number of roles he was appointed, in 2000, Operations Manager for the former Wagn Train Company (now First Capital Connect). In October 2005 he moved to c2c as Operations Manager where he has seen the route's performance reach new heights that regularly vie with one other Train Company for top place in the national league tables. In fact c2c is currently top of the national league.

Commenting on his appointment, Kevin said: It is a great honour to be appointed Route Director of one of the best performing Train Companies in the country. For the last 4 week period 98.91% of peak trains arrived on time and 97.21% of trains all day arrived on time. My challenge is to maintain this level of punctuality and to drive it even higher. Having worked on c2c for over a year now I know I have the support of an enthusiastic and dedicated team who are as determined as I am to meet customer aspirations and to maintain the success that is c2c.

C2c also has a new Operations Manager. Paul Harding (42) started his railway career as station operator on the Southern Region in 1985. Most recently he was Operations Manager for Silverlink' Metro route but now moves to c2c to take up the role of their Operations Manager. He is looking forward to building on the work of his predecessor and said of his appointment I am very pleased to have the opportunity to move to a different type of operation on c2c. I enjoyed my time at Silverlink Metro, and the move to c2c presents new opportunities and challenges.
