New Customer Services Director for Londonlines
Annette Davies has been appointed Customer Services Director for National Express's Londonlines business (which manages c2c and Silverlink). She will be responsible for marketing, branding, sales and pricing, product development and major projects at stations.
Annette joins London Lines from Airport Express where, as Commercial Director, she was responsible for the marketing and sales activities for the Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted Express services.
Annette worked within travel for a number of years, previously with Continental Airlines and Flybe (Jersey European Airways) and P&O, covering all aspects of marketing, including product development and pricing, prior to joining Airport Express in 2004.
Commenting on her appointment Annette said I am delighted to be joining Londonlines, after a very enjoyable spell at Airports Express. I am particularly attracted by the wider customer base, the variety of customer expectations and the different market segments on the various routes served by Londonlines. As with Airport Express customers, people using Silverlink or c2c want a clean, punctual and safe service and a clean, attractive and secure station environment supported by high quality customer service and delivery. The operation of the service differs considerably, however, with commuter, business and leisure markets being served by trains that carry people between intermediate stations as well as end to end, and with daily peak periods rather than holiday peaks. A great deal of work has already been done which gives me a firm base on which to take forward further improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Annette, who lives in Kent is married with four children. In what spare time she has between work and family, Annette enjoys trying the master golf and working on a second career as a taxi driver to her children!
