Last call for Christmas!!!!

c2c train services will be running throughout the Christmas and New Year holiday period except Christmas Day (25th December). There will, however, be changes to the normal timetable for the evening of 24th December and from 26th December to 1st January inclusive. All c2c passengers are advised to check their travel arrangements throughout this period.

Details are available in a special leaflet available at stations from 17th December.

Managing Director Dominic Booth said "This is the time of year when people relax and go out and enjoy themselves. We at c2c want to help people to do this - indeed we are running a service on Boxing day. But please remember that the railway is not a playground. Even when passenger trains are not running other trains are, and the overhead lines retain 25,000 volts of electricity, and the third rail power supply remains switched on. Also I cannot emphasise strongly enough that under no circumstances should anyone walk on, near or across the track - please keep to the authorised subways and footbridges. That way we can help all our customers to have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year."
